2012 Clarendon Hills Hickinbotham Grenache

Deep dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Pretty aromas of ripe dark raspberries, plum and liquorice emanate from the glass followed by some vanillin confectionary. Mouthfilling flavours of rich dark raspberries fill the palate alongside some liquorice, vanillin confectionary and spice. Juicy fruit combines with fresh acidity and very fine grained tannins. Excellent length finishing with a long spicy dark raspberry, liquorice and confectionary aftertaste.
