2012 Giant Steps Applejack Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright crimson cherry red colour with crimson red hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of ripe dark cherries and strawberry followed by some clove, subtle earthiness and spice. Rich and generously textured with a supple mouthfeel the palate possesses flavours of ripe dark cherries and strawberries overlaid by some toasty clove like characters with a spicy finish. Excellent power wave. Velvet smooth beautifully integrated tannins. Long ripe dark cherry, toasty clove and spice aftertaste.
