2012 Greywacke Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. Perfumed aromas of subtle violets and dark cherries are overlaid by some anise, toastiness and spice. Light to medium weight the palate has generous dark cherry, dark plum and toasty flavours followed by subtle dried meat characters and spice. Very fine grained velvet like tannins with a medium to long dark cherry, plum, toast and spicy dried meats aftertaste.
