2012 Ichiros Malt Chichibu White Wine Cask bottled for Takashimaya Cask Strength Single Malt Japanese Whisky (700ml)

A limited-run, cask strength Japanese malt with not a lot of information available. While the regard for Ichiro's is still growing in Australia, they have really taken off in Japan and other parts of Asia. In time, expect it to follow here too. This edition was distilled in 2012 and bottled exclusively for Takashimaya, (reportedly) a department store in Japan or Singapore. Unusually, maturation took place in a white wine cask. 61.2% Alc./Vol. One only.
