The fruit for this Shiraz is sourced from Mount Benson & Clare Valley. Very deep black crimson colour with a dark crimson red hue. Aniseed top notes dominate the nose with some underlying blackberry, toasty oak and spice scents. The palate possesses good weight and richness with flavours of aniseed, toasty oak and spice. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of aniseed and spicy charry oak.
