2012 Longhop Cabernet Sauvignon

Aged in seasoned French and American oak. Opaque black dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose displays very ripe blackcurrant, black plum and liquorice top notes followed by some cedary tobacco like characters. Very rich with a soft fat texture that gives the wine a flabby like appearance, the palate boasts concentrated flavours of cassis and ripe black plum followed by a touch of chocolate bullets with a joosy spicy finish. Soft velvety tannins with aftertaste of cassis, ripe dark plum, a touch of liquorice and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
