2012 Mad Bastard Wines Shiraz

Outstanding colour displaying a saturated inky black core with a dark purple black hue. The nose is a little withdrawn at first but with time in the glass opens up to reveal scents of liquorice and dark plum over some vanillin cedar and spice. The palate possesses plenty of richness along with a soft plush texture delivering generous flavours of liquorice and dark plums followed by some vanillin confectionary and spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, dark plum, vanillin confectionary and spicy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
