2012 Maretti Langhe Rosso

A blend of 70% Barbera and 30% Nebbiolo. Opaque deep dark red black colour with dark red hue. Raspberry, roses, liquorice and subtle earth aromas emerge from the glass. Light to medium weight the palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries and dark raspberries followed by some earth and spice. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins give the wine a chewy mouthfeel. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, raspberries and earthy spice.
Cellar 2-3 years.
