2012 Opawa Sauvignon Blanc

Opawa (“Smokey River” in Maori) is the second label of Nautilus and builds on their reputation as one of the region’s most respected producers.

A vibrant intensely flavoured Sauvignon Blanc that delivers excellent value.
Brilliant very pale straw, almost water like colour with greenish tinged edges and watery hue. The nose displays excellent intensity with lifted passionfruit, herbaceous gooseberry and citrus scents overlaid with some grassy asparagus like characters. Mouthfilling palate flavours of passionfruit and gooseberry followed by some herbaceous grassy characters and citrus. Clean crisp dry finish. Long passionfruit, herbaceous grassy gooseberry and citrus aftertaste.
