2012 Peel Estate Old Vine Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. A tightly wound nose slowly emits scents of liquorice, blackberry, vanillin cedar, earthy leather and pepper. Big bold liquorice and blackberry flavours meld into earthy vanillin cedar, leather and spicy pepper elements. Tightly structured with bright acidity and firmly built tannins. Good underlying power is trimmed back on the aftertaste.
