2012 Penley Estate Hyland Shiraz

Opaque black crimson colour with dark crimson purple hue. The nose displays blackberry and liquorice aromas with spearmint overtones followed by some subtle vanillin confectionary and light spice. Medium bodied the palate possesses generous blackberry and liquorice flavours wrapped up in a sense of suppleness followed by some spearmint nuances and spicy vanillin cedar. Dryish finish with very fine grained tannins showing excellent integration. Good depth with long blackberry, liquorice, spearmint and spicy cedar aftertaste.
