2012 Tarrawarra Estate Reserve Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a very distinctive greenish tinge on the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of white peach are meshed with some cashew, dried honey and toastiness with trailing light nougat and spice. Light weight and elegant with a sense of creaminess about the mouthfeel the palate resembles a top Chablis delivering flavours of white peach and pear merging with some cashew and toast over a wet stone and very subtle spice background. Clean dry finish. Good depth with a long aftertaste of subtle white peach, wet stone, cashew and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
