2012 Tatachilla Foundation Shiraz

Superb colour depth with an inky black dark purple core and a deep dark purple hue. Nosing reveals a ripe aromatic profile of fresh dark plums, blackberries and a hint of liquorice over some toasty oak and spice. Weighty and rich the palate possesses mouthfilling flavours of dark plums and blackberries over a touch of liquorice and some spicy toasty oak. Opulent mouthfeel with succulent fruit and solid very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark plums, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak.
