Aged in American oak hogsheads for 24 months. Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. On the nose dark plum and liquorice aromas are followed by dark chocolate, toasty cedar and spice. Full bodied with good mid palate richness the palate features ripe dark plum and liquorice flavours over some toasty oak and spice. Slightly dryish finish with solid fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark plums, liquorice and spicy toasted oak.

Aged for 24 months in American oak hogsheads. Opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson red hue. The nose displays perfumed aromas of liquorice and blackberries followed by some vanillin confectionary with light spearmint end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate has rich supplely textured flavours of blackberries and liquorice intermixed with some light spearmint and subtle spicy vanillin cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, subtle spearmint, vanillin confectionary and light spice.
