2012 Whistling Eagle Eagles Blood Shiraz

Displays a midnight black core with a dark red black tinged hue. Nosing reveals aromas of liquorice, blackberries and dark plum laced with some dried meats and vanillin cedar followed by light peppered end notes. Rich full bodied flavours of ripe blackberries and liquorice intermixed with some dark plum overlay vanillin cedar, earth and pepper. Opulent mouthfeel and velvet smooth tannins. Long sumptuous aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, dark plum, spicy vanillin oak and pepper.
