2012 Yarraloch Stephanie's Dream Pinot Noir
Semi translucent dark red colour with a brick red tinged hue. The nose exhibits varnishy top notes alongside some ripe plum, strawberry jam and spicy cedar. Soft, supple and savoury the palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries, plum, a touch of strawberry jam, sour cherries, dried meats and spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of dark and sour cherries, strawberry jam, stalky cedar and spice. This Pinot has developed much quicker than anticipated with the colour deepening and the nose taking on an off putting varnishy character.

Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark red to brick red hue. Perfumed and very alluring scents of violets, ripe dark cherries, ripe strawberries and plum leap from the glass followed by vanillin cedar and spice. A very intense sniff. Rich ripe dark cherry, strawberry jam and dark plum flavours engulf the palate over some lightly toasted cedar and spice. Supple round mouthfeel with silky smooth tannins. Excellent power wave with a long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, strawberry jam, cedar and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
