2013 Alan Mc Corkindale Sauvignon Blanc

A top example of intensely flavoured Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

Brilliant very pale straw almost water like colour with a greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. Nosing reveals intense ripe passionfruit top notes followed by some green apple and lime with light herbaceous gooseberry end notes. Vibrant and very concentrated the palate possesses mouthfilling flavours of passionfruit followed by some crunchy green apple, herbaceous gooseberry, lime and citrus showing superb depth and flavour persistence. Clean crisp finish with very long passionfruit, herbaceous gooseberry and green apple aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
