2013 Altos Las Hormigas Malbec Clasico

Very deep dark red black colour with a dark crimson red hue. Aromas of dark cherries overlay toasty cedar, earth and spice. Medium bodied with fruity dark cherry flavours overlaid by prominent toast charred cedar characters with a touch of liquorice, earth and spice following. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of toasty cedar, scorched earth and spice. The charry oak is too prominent.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
