2013 Antinori Peppoli Chianti Classico

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Fragrant dark cherry aromas are mixed in with earth, leather, spicy cedar and subtle dried herb nuances. Light to medium weight with a generous savoury flavour profile of spicy dark cherries infused with dried herbs over a backdrop of dusty cedar, earth and leather. Dry finish with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, dried herb infusions, earthy cedar and a touch of leather.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
