2013 Antinori Santa Cristina

This tasty Tuscan blend is predominately composed of Sangiovese (60%) with the balance being made up of Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah.

Opaque black crimson colour with a bright crimson red hue. Lifted scents of ripe dark to black cherries are intermixed with some scorched earth characters, cedar, a hint of black olive and spice. Light to medium weight with an elegant but savoury feel the palate features flavours of ripe dark cherries, scorched earth, a touch of new leather, cedar and spice. Slightly dryish finish with very fine grained well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, scorched earth and spicy new leather.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
