2013 Bannockburn Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with a faint glimmer of green around the edges and a watery hue. Showing excellent intensity the nose offers up ripe peaches intermixed with honeycomb and biscuity nougat over toasty oak, almonds and spice. Rich and creamy with medium body weight the palate boasts mouth-filling flavours of ripe peaches, honeycomb and citrus with light butterscotch infusions, nougat and spicy cashew also evident on the back palate. Clean dry finish with well balanced acidity. Excellent length concluding with a long ripe peach, honeycomb, nougat, light butterscotch, cashew and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
