2013 Caliterra Tributo Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Showing more complexity than the Reserva Chardonnay, in part due to its 9 months barrel ageing in French oak of which 8% were new, the nose offers up dried honey scents intermixed with some peach and cashew with underlying nougat and spice. Medium weighted the palate possesses excellent richness and a round creamy texture. Mouthfilling flavours of ripe peach and dried honey are overlaid by cashew, nougat and spice. Clean dry finish with a long conclusion of cashew, dried honey, peach and spicy nougat.
