2013 Capel Vale Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon

Outstanding saturation of colour displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a very deep dark purple black hue. Restrained aromas of blackcurrant and black cherries are overlaid by black olive and cigar box with a hint of earth and spice following. Rich, full bodied and very concentrated with cassis and ripe black cherry flavours swamping the front palate over a background of cigar box, subtle black olive and spicy scorched earth. Firm sturdy tannins tightens things up on the dry finish. Excellent length and power with a very long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, black cherries, cigar box, black olives and spicy scorched earth.
