2013 Catena Chardonnay

A Rich, generously textured Mendoza Chardonnay.

Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Attractively scented the nose offers up aromas of ripe peaches intermixed with some honeyed characters and subtle tropical fruits over a background of nougat and spicy cashew. Rich and boldly flavoured with a creamy mouthfeel the palate possesses outstanding concentration with mouthfilling flavours of ripe peaches, honeyed characters and light butterscotch with ensuing nougat and a spicy finish. Excellent mid palate weight and length with a long aftertaste of lightly honeyed ripe peaches, butterscotch, nougat and spicy cashew.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
