Boasting Impressive richness and fruity purity this is an excellent follow up to the fast selling 2012
Superb totally opaque inky black colour with a very deep dark purple black hue. Aromas of blackberry, liquorice and dark plum meld themselves together over a background of vanillin confectionary and spicy cedar. Plush and rich ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours flood the palate over a background of vanillin cedar and spice. Good solid backbone with slightly chewy but fine grained tannins holding the opulent rich fruit in check. Excellent depth and power finishing with a long ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark plum and spicy vanillin cedar aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc 14.5%
