2013 Domaine Chandon Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. The nose offers up scents of dark cherries intermixed with meatiness and a hint of anise with a light smoky cedar overlay and spice end notes. Light in weight the palate is quite savoury with flavours of dark cherries, strawberry, meaty earth like characters, cedar and spice. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, dried meats, dusty cedar and spice.
