2013 Domaine Marcel Deiss Alsace

A blend of 13 different Alsatian grape varieties. Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Expressive aromas of floral lychee, ripe pear and apple merge with dried honey over a background of subtle quince and spice. The palate has good richness with a full round textural profile and low acidity. Generous flavours of ripe pears and dried honey are followed by some baked apple characters and spice. Clean dry, slightly flabby finish. Aftertaste of ripe pears, baked apples, dried honey and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
