2013 Escarpment Pinot Gris

Bright pale straw colour with a tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. The nose displays ripe pear and dried apple aromas which meld into some honeysuckle, a hint of quince and spice. On the palate rich ripe pear and honeysuckle flavours are featured along with a full round textural feel. Quince and spice follow up the rear with a dry finish and good freshness. Aftertaste of spicy ripe pear, dried apple, honeysuckle and quince.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
