Totally opaque black purple colour with a deep dark purple hue. Lifted aromas of dark plum, ripe blackberries and liquorice are prevalent over a background of dark chocolate and vanillin oak. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses a soft fleshy texture with bold rich flavours of dark plums, liquorice and dark chocolate followed by spicy vanillin oak. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
