2013 M.Chapoutier La Ciboise Blanc

A blend of Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, Ugni Blanc and Roussanne. Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. On the nose aromas of apple and pear intermix with a hint of honeysuckle with subtle wet stone and spice end notes. The palate has a rounded textural feel and a clean crisp finish with flavours of ripe apples and pears to the fore over a touch of honeysuckle with flinty stone like characters following. Aftertaste of pear, apple, subtle honeysuckle and flinty stone. A great value offering from Chapoutier.
