2013 Morgan Vineyards Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a tinge of black on the edges and a crimson purple hue. Ripe plum and inky cherry notes emerge from the glass followed by a hint of anise and spice. The palate has generous but very youthful flavours of freshly crushed ripe plum and dark cherry followed by some inky earth like characters and spice. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of inky plum, dark cherries and spicy earth.
