2013 Ngeringa JE Syrah

Very deep dark red black core with a dark red hue. Fragrant dark berry and liquorice aromas meld into some smoky cedar, dried herbs, fennel and pepper notes. Elegant and savoury the medium weighted palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries and liquorice subtlety infused with dried herbs over some smoky cedar, earth and blackpepper. Supple mouthfeel with a slightly dryish finish and velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, liquorice, earthy dried herbs, lightly smoked cedar and pepper.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
