2013 Pikes Los Companeros Shiraz Tempranillo

Opaque black red colour with a bright dark red hue. Nosing reveals liquorice and black cherry aromas followed by some vanillin confectionary and subtle pepper end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate has excellent richness with flavours of liquorice, blackberries and black cherries overlaying spicy vanillin cedar and faint pepper. Velvet smooth tannins. Joosy mouthfeel with a medium to long liquorice, blackberry, black cherry, vanillin cedar and light pepper aftertaste.
