2013 Saint Clair Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a bright crimson red hue. Pronounced aromas of ripe dark cherries and strawberries are laced with anise followed by some toasty cedar and spicy dried meats. Light to medium weight the palate features abundant ripe fruit flavours of dark cherries and dark plum overlaid by anise, toasty cedar, some meatiness and spice. Supple mouthfeel with very fine grained polished tannins. Excellent length with a long conclusion of spicy dark cherries, dark plum, anise and meatiness. A great entry level Pinot.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
