2013 St Hugo The Last Letter Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon

Impenetrable black dark red core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Intense aromatics of cassis and liquorice laced with dark chocolate waft from the glass followed by a whiff of cedary tobacco notes, earthy mocha and spice. Within a ripe chewy mouthfeel luscious blackcurrant fruit floods the rich opulent palate followed by some chocolate mint, vanillin cedar, subtle earthy tobacco characters and spice. Dry finish with a robust tannin structure imparting some grip. Long spicy ripe blackcurrant, subtle choc mint, vanillin cedar and faint earthy tobacco aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
