2013 St. Mary's House Block Cabernet Sauvignon

Aged in French oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas drift through the olfactory senses followed by notions of earthy bay leaf and spicy vanillin cedar. Medium bodied with an elegant suppleness to the mouthfeel the palate possesses a refined flavour profile of ripe red and blackcurrant fruit over vanillin cedar, light earth, infusions of bay leaf and spice. Very fine grained tannins, perfectly married to the fruit. Medium to long aftertaste of red and blackcurrant fruit, vanillin cedar, bay leaf, traces of earth and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
