2013 The Willows Vineyard Shiraz

Totally opaque black as night dark red colour with a deep dark red black hue. Lofty aromas of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark chocolate are followed by vanillin oak and spicy mocha characters. Lavishly rich and boasting a huge core of opulent fruit, ripe blackberry and liquorice flavours saturate the palate over vanillin oak, traces of dark chocolate and spice. Quite harsh drying tannins cut the finish a touch short. Medium lengthed conclusion of ripe blackberries, liquorice, subtle dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice.
