2013 Tim Adams Shiraz

Matured in American oak hogsheads for 24 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black hue. Aromas of blackberries, liquorice and a touch of spearmint overlay lightly toasted cedar, earth and spice. Medium to full bodied with excellent richness yet a refined mouthfeel the palate features blackberry and liquorice flavours over lightly toasted vanillin cedar, a hint of spearmint and spicy earth infusions. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice, subtle mint, lightly toasted earthy vanillin oak and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
