Very deep dark red black core with a dark red hue. Nosing evokes fragrant aromatics of Morello and dried cherries tinged with rose petals which overlay earthy tobacco like notes, dried herbs and spicy leather. Medium bodied with an elegant and vibrant feel the red, Morello and dried cherry fruit show beautiful definition with elements of earthy leather characters, dried herbs and spice kicking in on the back palate. Bright acidity combines with firm, rustic tannins to give the finish some grip. Long and chewy with an aftertaste of bright red cherries, Morello cherries, dried cherries, earth, leather and spicy dried herbs.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews….
Powerful aromas of dried strawberries and cherries with flowers follow through to a full body, dense center palate of fruit and a long and chewy finish. Yet the tannins are polished and beautiful. Better in 2019.

This red shimmers with licorice, cherry, tar and mineral aromas and flavors. A bit heady, but expressive, with plenty of buried cherry notes at the core. Fresh and lightly chewy on the long finish. Best from 2021 through 2036.
