2013 Yarraloch Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark cherry red colour with a brick red tinged hue. Perfumed violet top notes overlay ripe red cherries and a hint of sour cherries followed by some stalky cedar with cinnamon spice end notes. Generous and supple the palate has a savoury flavour profile of ripe red cherries and strawberries with underlying spicy cedar and a faint meaty stalkiness. Velvet smooth tannins. Good power wave with a long aftertaste of ripe red cherries, strawberries, spicy cedar and some light stalkiness. It’s anticipated that this wine will develop quite quickly so drink now.
