2014 Alan McCorkindale Sauvignon Blanc

An intensely flavoured Sauvignon Blanc, Alan McCorkindale is consistently one of Marlborough’s best exponents of the variety.

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a watery hue. The nose displays intense passionfruit and gooseberry aromas with a distinctive herbaceous grassy asparagus overlay followed by citrus and light spice. Totally mouthfilling, the palate features concentrated flavours of gooseberries, some passionfruit, citrus, asparagus and herbaceous grassy characters. Clean crisp dry finish. Long aftertaste of ripe gooseberry, subtle passionfruit, citrus, asparagus and grassy characters.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
