2014 Amisfield Pinot Noir

Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright crimson purple hue. Fragrant scents of violets, ripe dark cherries and plum blossom from the glass overlaid by some anise, lightly toasted oak and subtle spicy incense. Very supple in the mouth showing ample richness and good power the palate sports a delicious flavour profile of ripe dark cherries and plums subtlety infused with anise over some lightly toasted oak and spice. Velvet smooth perfectly integrated tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of spicy ripe dark cherries, plums, anise and spicy oak.
