2014 Arboleda Chardonnay

Arboleda is the premium tier in the Eduardo Chadwick family of wines. The fruit for the Chardonnay is sourced from their Chilhue vineyard –a 1047 hectare property of rolling hills located just 12km from the Pacific Ocean which experiences similar conditions to that of Marlborough in New Zealand making it ideal for growing cool climate grape varieties.

Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish highlights around the edges and a watery hue. Scented aromas of white peaches infused with honeysuckle arise from the glass followed by light butterscotch biscuit, cashew, citrusy nougat and a faint spice end note. Both full and fresh the palate delivers intense flavours of ripe white peaches intertwined with dried honey and trailing cashew, nougat and spice nuances. Clean dry finish. Long aftertaste of fresh white peaches, dried honey, cashew, light nougat and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
