2014 Domaine Marcel Deiss Pinot d'Alsace

Brilliant straw colour with some faint tinges of green around the edges and a watery hue. Lifted ripe pear and honeysuckle intermix with some exotic fruits and baked apple followed by quince end notes. Texturally full with good richness but finishing fresh the palate features generously rounded flavours of ripe pears and lychees overlaid by honeysuckle with faint quince on the medium dry finish. Good length with a medium to long aftertaste of ripe pears, lychee fruits, honeysuckle and a touch of quince.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
