2014 Greywacke Wild Sauvignon

Bright pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Top notes of herbaceous grassy characters are intermixed with gooseberry and citrusy asparagus notes followed by dried herb and spicy cedar infusions. The palate has excellent intensity and drive with mouthfilling flavours of ripe gooseberries overlaid by herbaceous grassy characters and asparagus with ensuing citrus and spicy pencil shaving nuances. Nicely textured with a dry finish and well judged acidity. Long aftertaste of herbaceous gooseberries, citrus, grassy characters, dried herbs and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
