2014 Howard Park Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. The nose conjures up aromas of white peaches laced with flinty match stick notes over some dried honey, biscuit, nougat and light butterscotch. Medium weighted the palate combines a creamy mouthfeel with a fresh finish delivering mouthfilling flavours of white peaches and nectarines intermixed with nougat, dried honey and cashew followed by traces of butterscotch. Clean dry finish with fresh acidity. Excellent depth with a long conclusion of white peaches, nougat, dried honey, butterscotch and subtle spicy cashew.
