2014 Josef Chromy Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Expressive aromatics of subtle violets, ripe dark cherries and dark plum are overlaid by some anise with spicy cedar end notes. Light to medium weight the palate possesses good power and richness with generous flavours of ripe dark cherries and plum to the fore followed by subtle anise and spicy cedar. Very fine grained tannins are well integrated and combine with some fresh acidity on the finish. Medium to long ripe dark cherry, plum, faint anise and spicy cedar aftertaste.
