2014 Kay Brothers Basket Pressed Shiraz

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe dark cherries and liquorice meld into some smoky oak, new leather and spice. Medium bodied the palate has generous flavours of liquorice and ripe dark cherries over a backdrop of earthy vanillin cedar and spicy leather. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Good length with a long aftertaste of liquorice, ripe dark cherries, leather, earthy cedar and spice.
