2014 Kingston Estate Merlot

Fruit for this wine was sourced from Mt Benson and the Clare Valley. Very deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright dark red hue. Ripe mulberry and dark cherry aromas overlay some earthy vanillin cedar and spice. Medium bodied the palate has flavours of blackcurrant and dark cherries over subtle cedary tobacco characters and spice. Very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedary tobacco characters, light earth and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
