2014 Lavau Cotes du Rhone

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright dark red hue. Elevated black raspberry scents are trailed by some liquorice, subtle incense infusions and pepper. Light to medium weight the palate has flavours of black raspberries and liquorice to the fore over some incense infusions and spicy earth. Dryish finish with faintly chalky tannins. Modest conclusion of spicy black cherries, liquorice, incense and traces of earth.
